Second book in the Olympian Series
written by Rick Riordan; amazing sequel to his first book. The story gets much
more interesting and the life demi-gods and their camp become clearer. Percy
has understood his powers well but still is on the initial stage of learning.
The book is narrated in very good flow and is really very catchy.

Book starts with an attack on Percy and
his friend Tyson. With the help Annabeth they defeat their enemies and proceeds
towards the camp, which is under the attack because the boundary of the camp is
weaken as the tree Thalia Grace is poisoned, it was trees magical power that
was protecting the camp from attack. So now it was Clarisse's quest to find the
Golden Fleece which can cure the Thalia's tree. Thalia was Zeus demi-god
daughter. With the help Poseidon, Percy, Annabeth and Tyson also proceeds to
same destination because their fried Grover was also captured. The story goes on and has a very nice twist and turns. The books is ended at very interesting
point which keeps the reader waiting for the 3rd book in series.
It is an awesome book, a very nice
sequel to Percy Jackson: The lightening thief. If you have read first part then
you can't stop yourself from reading this book & if you haven't start
reading this series; it is one of the best fantasy fiction series. There is
also an movie being made on this book.
