A very well wrote Love Story by Ravinder Singh. The author has written it in KISS (Keep It Simple & Straight) concept. Though having a very unhappy end, the book is still a very good love story. Ravinder has expressed his feelings in the book about his soul-mate KHUSHI.

The story starts with the reunion of four college friends, where they discuss about their future. After getting influenced by his friends Ravinder registers himself on Shaadi.com, where he finds Khushi. They find each others company quiet happy and the story goes at very simple and at steady pace. Then their relation comes on next step i.e. Marriage. They were about to get engaged and the most unexpected thing happens. Khushi meets accident and only thing left with Ravinder is memories. The book has an unhappy ending which stabs the heart of every reader. Author has explained all the instances very well.

It is a wonderful book written by Ravinder Singh. The only drawback about this book is an immature narration, but keeping that aside it is a very excellent book. An amazing book in all.

that kiss in the rain by Novoneel Chakraborty

A nice romantic book by Novoneel Chakraborty; full of emotions, childhood love and a female protagonist story. When I started reading this Book, all the things started bouncing over the head, many characters were introduced all of sudden but as soon as story moves further the main characters become crystal clear.

The book has 3 main characters, Hassil, Pallavi & Palki plus an essential character Swadha. Pallavi is the center of story and is portrayed as very strong, fighting girl. Hassil, Pallavi's childhood love,is presently married to Palki. Story starts when Hassil and Palki meets an accident; Hassil losses its memory and Palki losses her life. Then Hassil's friend brings Pallavi in his life as his wife (Palki). The story goes with quite twist and turns. Eventually the truth of Pallavi is exposed to Hassil and rest you will found out when you will read the book.

Now coming to the setbacks about book, the initial pages are really boring and confusing but still go on after few pages real story will reveal itself. Also Novoneel has left some gaps in the book during the narration other than that a nice Book. Can be read once and read till the last page because it has the biggest twist.

Deception Point by Dan Brown

Deception point, A wonderful book having extraordinary twist and turns. When I started reading this book it was like I just can't keep it down. Very interesting, very catchy and another great work by Dan Brown. Dan's book is always based on some specific topic and the way in which he uses that and creates the environment for laying the pillars of his books, It’s just amazing.

The book is all about meteorite found in Arctic Circle and the inspection about it. Rachel Sexton, the protagonist is a data analyst and also the daughter of Senator. This discovery of meteorite plays a vital role because it can lead us to the proof of extra terrestrial life. Then four scientists are send for the inspection and the author takes us to great turns. It is mind swirling story written in such a magnificent way that you can't stop yourself from reading this.

The most amazing thing about Dan Brown's book is he first explains every detail of the topic on which his plot is placed. Well amazing book in all and one should definitely read it. Well not to forget about the language, it is written in very simple language and most fascinating about its narration is he keeps the reader busy in book.

Percy Jackson: The Titan's Curse by Rick Riordan

The third book in Olympian Series by Rick Riordan. Well this book led us into great depth of Greek Mythology. Rick Riordan has definitely showed how humors literature can be. Wrapped with friendship & emotions, this book is another great reading adventure. When I started reading this book I was just not able to keep the book down more than twice; completed it in 3 seating’s, Wonderful book.

Percy Jackson: The Titan's Curse Cover

This time story is about Olympian Council which will decide the war between titans. As in last part Thalia has grown into her full form; Percy, Annabeth, Thalia & Grover discovers two half-blood Nico & Bianca, where they were attacked and Annabeth got captured and also the goddess Artemis afterwards. So they all look together for them facing big fights, narrow escapes and breathe taking incidents. The main thing about this series is that Rick always uses present day places & objects in the story. Well the end gets much fierce in this pert and nail biting incidences occur one after the other. It is amazingly narrated book and most fascinating thing is that Riordan's narration is getting improved book by book.

Definitely to be read book. Large number of characters are added in this part and that gets pretty hectic to remember but despite of that it was one of the most amazing book you will read in fantasy section.

A nice debut book by Durjoy Dutta. The name of the book is very catchy and that thing surely added tons to its readers. It is an love story of guy who is studying Delhi Engineering college in Mechanical Branch; can have any girl which he wants to date and soon enough will break with her. He makes many girlfriends till his angel enters into his life and Mr. Charming changed into lover.

His name is Debashish Roy, Deb, a perfect cute guy who has very charming nature and looks which helps him to reach the girls of his choice. His life changes when Avantika enters into his life all things start changing. She is explained as his angel in the book. Well after that book has lots of twist and turns which is an interesting aspect of book. The story goes through an unexpected journey. Separating of Avantika and entering again in Deb's life at climax makes a book with happy ending.

If anyone is expecting it to be a very good book as expressed by its title and cover, then surely you will be disappointed. Never judge a book by its cover and title. Well there are good things about book also, Good narration, Unexpected twist in story, Cute love story angle and in last good writing skills. Can be read once...

Percy Jackson :The Lightning Thief by Rick Riordan

Percy Jackson, a fictional character created by Rick Riordan in his Olympian Series. Percy is not to be understood similar to Perseus Son of Zeus. In this series Percy is the son of Poseidon and he gets his surname Jackson by his mother. He was left with his mother by his father when he was very young and from there on Percy haven't met his father. The story is very well narrated, an excellent fantasy fiction book by author.  The story is based on Greek Gods Mythology, due to which it becomes more interesting.

It is the first book in Olympian series. Percy is suffering from ADHD and dyslexia, which proves out to be the important factors in Camp Half-Blood. He has been blamed as a Lightning Thief, which is Zeus most crucial weapon. The story unfolds as he moves into the Camp. After that he has to go on a Quest to prove himself innocent. The most mysterious thing about the story is that the Oracle before any quest provides a riddle which has a hidden meaning. After every few pages it seems the Oracle was pointing towards this and the very next moment another meaning pops out. The second most important thing about the book is Riordan has not left the modern world behind; he takes both the world parallel and provides a proper linkage between them. Greatly written book, consisting of suspense, twist and also presented in very easy language.

Once you start reading you just can’t keep the book down. For Fantasy Fiction Lovers it is an excellent book; should be read. In all very impressive book written by Rick Riordan. This book is one of my favorites.

Life is What You Make it by Preeti Shenoy

Second book by Preeti Shenoy "Life is What You Make it". It’s a Very Good book; twisted in love games, mixed feelings and achieving after losing everything. Book is about the mental illness called Bipolar Disorder; don't take it as a 'lunatic' or 'crazy', it is just an ordinary illness which can be cured easily by love and care. Preeti has tried to give a good inspiration to people by this book.

Story is about girl, Ankita, her life, her problems and her feelings. It starts when her first love moves to IIT and she takes St. Agnes. In cultural event she meets Abhishek, to whom she avoids in some sense but kinda start liking him. The story goes at this pace until she decides to move to Bombay for MBA braking Abhi's heart. The very next day he was found dead in the lake and reports show that he was heavily drunk. She was really set back by this but she moves on to Bombay for MBA. Everything was going right until her parents founds love letters and burns them. That was the stage when her mental illness starts shoeing its effects. After that it contiues, doctors after docters, until she was admitted in mental hospital, where she has another birth. It is good inspiring story especially the last 100 pages which are about her days in hospital.

The only drawback about the book is it has a pretty boring start and also Ankita's early life narration was not that good, but half of the book is very well narrated. In all very good book one should read it.

A Thing Beyond Forever by Novoneel Chakraborty

A thing beyond forever - the reward of every true love is not love, nice book written by Novoneel Chakroborty. Book contains intense emotions of love and also impractical concept "REINCARNATION". Story is about the love of Radhika (Dr. Radhika know) whom she has lost a long time ago. Life brings new shattering memories in front of him through his dairy, which she founds with her patient, a small boy 'Laye'.

It is wonderfully narrated story by Novoneel and the most amazing thing is the way of expressing the emotions. Radhika, from school days loves Raen Verma, who loves other girl Savera and she loves Ashesh. Well it is pretty complex story but written in the most simplest from one could find. Raen proposes Savera two times and on both occasion she turns him down & then the stroy of Radhika and Raen starts. But Soon Radhika loses Raen forever. Incidently or was planned, Raen's dairy is owned by Laye, son Savera & Ashesh, and thorugh him it reaches Radhika. On investigating further she founds that Laye is new birth Raen Verma.

Well the last part is the only thing that is pretty indigestible in book otherwise it is an excellent book. The grammar in the writing is still to be improved and at sometimes it gets very uncatchy. But in all a fabulous book by Novoneel, I would suggest every person to read it once and feel the emotions attached with the story.

A gemstone to be preserved in the category of Self help Genre. A very good book about the true value of living and teaching us the ideal behavior of a human being. The Story is about a very successful and prestigious lawyer who has a very beautiful Ferrari, but he is not happy as it seems. He then marches towards the saints which live in Himalayan Range. Staying their learning their way living was now his only motto. The story is narrated by this lawyer when he comes back after spending great time with saints and narrates his learning to his assistant.

The book is very good, you will definitely find some life changing quotations and learning in book. It is a book about spirituality, true living and understanding the true logic of living. It is a complete library of information and knowledge of self help, motivation. It is one of the most inspiring and motivating book. Obviously every person living should read it once in their life; they will surely find a new morning.

Those small lil things... In life and love by Rahul Saini

A new book by a new author but still the same Bollywood script. Nice try by Rahul but he is best suited for short stories or might be for script writing in movies or for dialogues but not for the book.

Raj is architect, hates his job, a heart broken, childhood love, etc. Well Raj feels loneliest person presently and tells about all those small little things which one forgets but still they are present in their mind and at very exact moment it comes forward. It is about those small things in love and life that matter a lot to one person. Fighting with friends, making amendments again with them, etc is all part of the book. Raj is now getting attracted to his childhood friend but she turns him down and again Raj is heartbroken. Author has used many filmy dialogues in the book because of which the flow of book was completely broken, proving out to be the negative point about the book.

The literature used in book is very good; and the next slightly good thing about the book is the exciting end. Well rather than that the book is far below average. Don’t waste your money and time on this book. There are many books far better than this.

The Da Vinci Code by Dan Brown

The best of few novels that are ever written by any author. A mystery-detective thriller novel wrapped in story linked with Christianity which has his roots buried in the past. Novel shows the battle between Priory of Sion and Opus Dei; one of which thinks Jesus was married to Mary Magdalene. Dan Brown has used the famous Last Supper very significantly.Well the novel includes a long list of known scientist, leaders, inventors, etc. A very magnificent book written by Dan Brown.

The story starts when the Prof, Robert Langdon's name was found out at crime scene, that is murder; the body was displayed like Da Vinci's famous drawing. From there the Robert meets Sophie, a cryptographer, which claims to the victim’s granddaughter. After going through the codes placed hysterically in museum, Robert and sophie escapes from museum. They are headed to Depository Bank where they find a cryptex. A tool which can only be opened by correct answer and if the answer turns out to be wrong the message inside will be destroyed. For opening it Robert seeks help of his friend, who has different plans for it. His friend reveals a dozen of secrets to them. After a long rush the Robert cracks the code and gets the message and in the end Sophie turns out to be a part of blood line of Jesus and Mary Magdalene. Well precisely this was not the end, the true meaning of messages leads Robert to the museum where it all started. The Holy Grail was buried under a pyramid in museum.

This book can be the most magnificent piece of art in mystery category. A Magnificent book read by almost every book reader around the globe. The book is very entertaining piece of art or I should say a book to be placed in classics of all time. This book is translated in almost all languages and also movie is made based on this novel starring Tom Hanks. Even the movie proved out to be Blockbuster.

A wonderful book, comprises everything we can imagine. I hope you might have read this book and if not,then surely read it and go through the world which Dan Brown tried to create. This book is definitely to be placed in the list of "Books to be read before Death".

Trust Me by Rajshree

It was a very nice try by Rajshree but seriously she wasn't able to connect with audience very well. The book was not that good or I should say below an average grade.

The entire time while reading you expect to see some twist and turn and some unexpected scenes to occur while that never occurs in 242 pages. The story was very predictive; before going through next pages you can easily guess that what would be the next scene. Well it is filled with complete Indian Masala and for those who seek such things will definitely like this novel.

Nothing about the book was that attractive except cover. "All That Shines Is Not Gold" will be best suited on this situation. I expected it to be a better book but it all turned out to wrong. The book consists of female chauvinism and I expect a good percentage of general public will surely like it, but if you are expecting to be a good entertainer then your expectations won't be fulfilled.

I would suggest don't waste your money on this books and if you have got lots of free time and the only book available is this, you can surely give it a try

Well this guy should be appreciated for evolving a new culture in INDIA; new book readers and writers have emerged from all around the country. Earlier it was from IIT's and IIM's who was considered to writers, but now any good writer was being welcomed by publishers. A handsome amount of Book readers were multiplying each day. This was his debut novel really it is the best of all 5 which i have read. It is story of 3 friends in IIT. The story contains twists and turns, emotions, humor and all these with excellent narration.

The story begins when all these friends Hari, Ryan and Alok meet in college. They try their level best to set an impressing figure in class but everything turns out to be wrong. The every good they try to do turn out to be a mess. Story revolves around family issues, engineering student issues, their dreams, love lives, etc. Then the narrator (Hari) gets involve with prof. daughter (Neha) and there enters a new angle. In short it is complete package of entertainment especially for Engineering Students. I would suggest every graduate to read this book once.

As the name suggest, the story is all about the 6 people working in call center. The entire story is of one winter night in call center. The story is about their personal problems, relationship problems, etc. It shows a slight view of night call centers; boss trying to make more out of employees. And after that the most strange and shocking thing happens, they gets a call by GOD.

The story is good, includes family issues. The story was told to Chetan by a girl to whom he met in train journey and at one condition she told the story, that was it has be his second book and well it turns out to be true.

Eragon : The Inheritance series

An excellent piece of work done by Christopher Paolini; A story of farm boy who turns out to  the son of Brom, but Eragon believes that he is Morzan's son until late in Brisingr (Third Book), becomes a dragon rider and fights with all the courage. An excellent story which revolves around the dragons and their riders. While reading it you would seriously believe that it is part of Lord of the Rings.

 

Christopher Paolini

Many would know about Christopher Paolini, but very less knows that he started writing Eragon at the age of 15. He says

                    “When I invented Eragon, he was me. Writing about yourself is probably one of the easiest things for a fifteen-year-old author to do. However, I found that as the story progressed and Eragon did things that I've never done — such as fighting monsters and flying a dragon — he evolved into his own character, which I'm very happy about.”

The Series consists of 4 books, Eragon, Eldest, Brisingr and Inheritance. 

Eragon (Book I)

The first book in Inheritance cycle takes us to the world of Dragons and their Riders. It basically creates the ground for entire series leaving the reader into curiosity about the past of Dragon Riders. This book created an magnificent environment for every reader. The next phase starts when Eragon starts learning magic and getting trained to fight. He then rescues Arya but the cost which he paid was the death of his Trainer “Brom”, who turns out to be his father, which was reveled in third book. And after that Eragon reaches The Varden, with the help his half-brother, and fight against Durza and defeats him by the help of Arya.

Eldest (Book II)

The second book in Inheritance cycle reveals an eye opening and shocking secrets. After defeating Durza, Eragon moves to Ellesméra with Arya and Orik, to get trained as a rider by Oromis(Rider) and Glaedr(Dragon). Here he is influenced by Elves and starts learning all about Riders and what are they capable of. During this entire training he gets an magical gift by dragons, because of which his strength becomes comparable to elves. The training wasn’t complete but he has to march to the war where he is shocked by another dragon and his rider, which turns out to be his brother. The rider was Murtagh. He now serves to Galbatorix and shows mercy on Eragon just by leaving him alive after death, but claimed The Red Sword Zar’roc.

Brisingr (Book III)

The third book starts with a fight between Murtagh and Eragon. Murtagh gets defeated by Eragona, as he was supported by Arya and 13 elves. After that the Eragon return to his trainer Oromis for completing his training where he learns about the secret about the power of Galbatorix. Here he learns that he is not an son of Morzan but of Brom. Murtagh was not his real brother but half-brother. Selena was their mother which afterwards fell in love with Brom. And after that he gets his Blue Sword and named it as Brisingr. The book ends with the death of their Eragon’s Master, Oromis, in an battle in Feinster.

Inheritance (Book IV)

I  am about to read this book & will surely read write an review………….

In short this is an epic series which everyone should read. It consists of everything twist, emotions, courage, etc. One of the best series in Fantasy fiction section.

The Second Step : Lord of the Rings

Well the second series which I read was "The Lord of the Rings" written by J R R Tolkien. And seriously it’s like father of all the fantasy fiction novels you would ever find. Great flow, excellently expressed & one the thing which we must not forgot is the concept. 

I would suggest one must read that book. It consists everything twist, story, emotions, characters, etc. It can be considered as the most motivating and inspiring series one can keep in its rack. Full of fun, nail biting chapters one after the other; You just can’t keep your hands away from that book once you have started. 

One must not forgot the great dialogue by Tolkien. Following are my favorite dialogue from the series:

“All that is gold does not glitter,

Not all those who wander are lost;
The old that is strong does not wither,
Deep roots are not reached by the frost.

From the ashes a fire shall be woken,

A light from the shadows shall spring;

Renewed shall be blade that was broken,

The crown-less again shall be king.” 

These lines were exceptionally well written...

"Even the very wise, cannot see all ends." 

"When one journey ends another begins."

“Faithless is he that says farewell when the road darkens.” 

“A single dream is more powerful than a thousand realities.” 

“One Ring to rule them all, One Ring to find them, 

One Ring to bring them all and in the darkness bind them.”

The characters of the series were painted so beautifully that each and every one of them seems to be alive. All characters are given a specific purpose and each one fulfills it at very right moment. I am seriously great fan of The Lord of the Rings.

And seriously i am not exaggerating a bit about the this book just read once and you will find how amazing work has J R R Tolkien left behind him to be read.

The Beginning

                            Wrote by Laozi (Chinese Philosopher) in the Tao Te Ching and I am a believer in that. Whether you agree or not journey starts with only one firm decision. Fate, Destiny depends on the courage we have inside ourselves because no one will help you other than yourself only awakening is required.

I still remember the time when I started reading, it was 7 years back in the year 2005. The first book which I grasped to read was HARRY POTTER. Ohh Man!!! What an extraordinary book written by J K Rowling. An tale which leads you in an imaginary world full of surprises, emotions, etc.

I would say if you haven’t yet started reading Harry Potter series, it should be yours first in the list. And one more thing I said list in previous sentence, Yup list is necessary because reading book is not one time investment. Its long process which teaches you many things, doesn’t matter to what age group you belong. Make a habit to read. And also remember “Good books are rarely cheap” was said to me by my friend few days back & that’s truth (I think).

Telling about this book is something like telling the things which you already know but to all those who would be reading this, I just want to express my feelings about this book. It comprises everything wrong, good, friendship, love, etc. It shows ideal thinking for friendship, a boy who has no family finds family in his friends; Includes fights, misunderstandings, revenge, etc. One very good thing which I personally learned from the book was, One should always believe in oneself and also should act according to it. Either you will win or will get an very excellent experience; Just believe in yourself.

This book, this story I won’t ever forgot in my life. It teaches you many good lessons which always should be remembered. It was the time when half blood prince was to be released in India. I just completed all five books straight in period of 1- 2 months. And after that the wait for last was like thinking of what would happen next and all. Sometime it seems we have really entered into the world of magic. In the last I just want to say whether you are teenager, adult, etc all should read this series once & if you are thinking you have watched movies then OMG!!! There is no comparison between book & movie, there can’t be.

I hope you would read if you haven’t read this series earlier & if you have read then you would agree with me.
